Blackout Coffee’s journey began in 2014 as a humble coffee shop in Crestmead, sparked by the shared passion for coffee of its founders, John and Sarah. What started as a small endeavor fueled by their enthusiasm quickly evolved into something remarkable. From those modest beginnings, Blackout grew to encompass multiple thriving locations. As we expanded, our offerings grew beyond coffee, encompassing a wide array of culinary delights. Our team, comprised of skilled baristas and chefs, has grown into a dynamic group that embodies the very essence of Blackout's culture.
In 2016, Blackout Coffee's evolution took a significant leap as it expanded into Blackout Coffee and Catering, fueled by the support of local businesses. This expansion was a direct response to a need for catering experiences that defied the ordinary. It didn't take long for our distinctive approach to captivate the taste buds and imaginations of those seeking something beyond the mundane. As demand surged, we quickly outgrew our original space, prompting the move to our sprawling production kitchen at Meadowbrook. This strategic transition allowed us to accommodate the growing appetite for our unique catering services and culinary offerings, further solidifying our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences that stand out in the corporate catering landscape.
